North Korea finally ready to talk?

North Korean leaders have decided to talk and open up to South Korea and their sworn enemy the United States. Talks are to be held at the DMZ (the north south border) within the next couple months.

This may be a large step forward to long lasting peace in the region.

No doubt Trump will claim responsibility for any advancements, although is this just the result of the Obama administration's strategic patients finally bearing fruit. Also, how will China react to loosing a rouge puppet, it is possible for China to try and keep the US at an arms length by using its regional sway to stop unification or even to derail peace talks entirely or will China take the high road and build closer bonds to North and south Korea after peace talks. Only time will tell.
